Welcome to our website. As you can see Greater Reno/Tahoe is
not all just Casinos and bars. Just 40 min. west is one of the
most beautiful mountain lakes in the US. Reno is best known
world wide for the Casinos however most people move here for
the low cost of living vs California, excellent corporate business
environment, low taxes, 4 full seasons and low humidity.
Being homegrown with my 4 brothers in Reno, has shown us the
unique social issues of this tourist community. Nevada, with its
24-hour lifestyle and a high turn over of population has created a
community in need of the message of Faith In Jesus Christ.
JCF is founded upon the Word of Faith movement and
Pentecostal Teachings. Working in the gifts described in the
book of 1 Corinthians 12:7-10 (KJV).
Some would call us a Word Church, Charismatic Church, Full
Gospel, Pentecostal or even a Non-Denominational Church. Any
of these would be correct as most of the doctrine is agreeable
between them. The application of the Word of God is what gives
each it's particular faith.
Let me say that another way. Is there a difference between a
Christian who says they are a...Roman Catholic, Protestant,
Baptist, Lutheran, Anglican, Episcopalian, Methodist,
Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Non-Denominational,
Church of Christ, Eastern Orthodox, Jehovah ’s Witness or a
Mormon? If the person has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord
and savior, they have repented (turned away from) their sins and
have made him Lord of lords they, “shall be saved. “ Acts 2:21
(KJV) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call
on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Whosoever means just that. You, they, we all are whosoever.
Galatians 3:28 (KJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there
is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female:
for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Jesus came to give us a
free gift from God (John 3:16) then man came along and said
nothing is for free and he (not God) created religion. That is
what the relationship is all about.
